About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our team at Sodexo Canada Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our clients and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including meals and snacks, to meet the dietary needs of our clients and guests.
  • Work collaboratively with the Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food service operations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to Sodexo's food safety and health and safety standards.
  • Assist with menu planning, inventory management, and food procurement to ensure optimal food service operations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our clients and guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent customer service and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work under pressure and ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
  • Cook certificate and FoodSafe certificates are assets.
