About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our Middle Office team in Capital Markets and Treasury Risk Management at Banque Nationale du Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for running daily production and analysis of Risk, Compliance and P&L reports, supporting ongoing investigations and validations linked to different risk measures, and evaluating and following up on compliance limits and risk.
Your Responsibilities:
- Run daily production and analysis of Risk, Compliance and P&L reports
- Support ongoing investigations and validations linked to different risk measures
- Evaluate and follow up on compliance limits and risk
- Evaluate risk for equity, derivatives, fixed income, commodities and FX
- Develop IT processes and participate in process migration to AWS
- Collaborate with various sectors of the Bank: Risk Oversight, Operations, IT, Model Development, Governance, Credit, Accounting, Audit
About You:
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in finance or a quantitative field, with 1-3 years of relevant experience. You should have excellent knowledge of Financial Markets, Commodity derivatives and evaluation methods, and be proficient in programming skills such as Python, VBA, and SQL. Leadership and teamwork capabilities are essential for this role.
