Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 / year based on experience

Job Overview:
The Field Operations Supervisor works closely with the Operations Manager and fellow team members to oversee the operational activities at the client site. This role acts as the primary liaison for the client regarding operational issues and service requests. Key responsibilities include managing staff performance, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations, and identifying areas for operational improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and management of staff
  • Deliver coaching and constructive feedback
  • Encourage high levels of employee engagement
  • Leverage technology for effective team oversight
  • Uphold performance standards and resolve complaints
  • Monitor compliance with budgetary constraints
  • Document and report maintenance concerns

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory capacity
  • Required knowledge in Building Maintenance Services
  • Union experience is preferred
  • Proven track record in managing personnel
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Experience in cultivating positive team dynamics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized

Work Environment:

  • Required presence in various sections of a large facility
  • Reports directly to the Operations Manager
  • Supervises Lead Hands and Cleaning Staff

Interview Process:

  • Initial phone discussion for shortlisted candidates
  • First interview - 30-minute session with the hiring manager
  • Second interview - 1-hour site assessment
  • Conduct reference checks
