Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production of our baked goods, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and taste.
Key Responsibilities- Production Management: Oversee the production of baked goods, including preparing dough, batters, and icings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet our established standards of quality and taste.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise and train bakery personnel and kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Inventory Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Scheduling: Draw up production schedules and ensure that staff are scheduled accordingly.
- Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that all products are of high quality and meet customer expectations.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Work Setting: Bakery.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
