We are a leading bakery and cake shop, committed to providing high-quality baked goods and exceptional customer service. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Baker to join our team.
Job SummaryThe Baker will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including cakes, pastries, and bread. This is a key role in our bakery, and we are looking for someone with a passion for baking and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and bake a variety of sweet and savory goods, including cakes, pastries, and bread.
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu items.
- Train and supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.
- Ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies.
- Operate and maintain bakery equipment.
- Inspect and maintain kitchen and food service areas.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service.
- College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Excellent baking and decorating skills.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
This is a permanent position, working 35 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
