Preparation Painter

We are seeking a skilled Preparation Painter to join our Paint Shop team at New Flyer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing buses for painting, operating painting tools, and adhering to company procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Operate palm sanders and polishers to prepare the bus surface for painting.
- Ensure performance targets are met by completing tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain accurate information flow to support our first-time quality initiatives.
- Adhere to safety procedures when using equipment in this position.
- Possess a basic understanding of the paint process, including painting, priming, and masking procedures.
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to perform duties with minimal supervision.
- Operate equipment and power tools required for this position.
