Your Opportunity

Our Lethbridge office is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Assurance team and take ownership of the following responsibilities:

  • Efficiently prepare year-end engagements and tax returns for clients in various industries
  • Perform audits and assurance engagements for private companies and non-profit organizations, prepare working papers and financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards
  • Build strong relationships with clients and effectively respond to their requests and suggestions
  • Participate in business development initiatives and identify new business opportunities with existing clients
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding progress updates and issues
  • Engage in training staff and invest in the professional development of your team

Your Experience and Education

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Completed CPA designation or in process of completion
  • 3 years of audit and assurance experience in the public accounting industry, particularly on ASPE or ASNPO files
  • Experience working with private and non-profit industries and a desire to develop further knowledge in this area
  • Strong teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
  • Problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
