We're seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Assurance team in Lethbridge. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in preparing year-end engagements and tax returns for clients across various industries.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Efficiently prepare year-end engagements and tax returns for clients in a variety of industries.
  2. Perform audits and assurance engagements for private companies and non-profit organizations, preparing working papers and financial statements per regulatory standards.
  3. Build positive working relationships with clients, effectively responding to requests and suggestions.
  4. Participate in business development initiatives, identifying new business opportunities with existing clients.
  5. Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis.
  6. Engage in training staff, investing in the professional development of your team.

Your Experience and Education:

  1. You have completed your CPA designation or are in the process of completion.
  2. You have 3 years of audit and assurance experience in the public accounting industry (particularly on ASPE or ASNPO files).
  3. You enjoy working within the private and non-profit industries and are keen to develop further knowledge in this area.
  4. You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
  5. You display strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
