Baker Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of sweet and savory goods, including bread, pastries, and cakes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Bake mixed dough and batters.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
  • Prepare special orders.
  • Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
  • Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas.
  • Organize and maintain inventory.
  • Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
