Technical Product Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Product Manager to join our team at Intello Technologies Inc. in Vancouver, BC, CA, V6B 3K9; Toronto, ON, CA, M5J 2V5; Edmonton, AB, CA, T5M 3Z7; Calgary, AB, CA, T2A 4Y2.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, business analysis, or a related field, with a proven track record of success in translating business requirements into actionable development tasks.

The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for working closely with our product team, pricing team, and other key stakeholders to gather requirements, align them with business objectives, and translate them into clear, actionable tasks for the development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, ensuring alignment with the product vision and business priorities.
  • Manage roadmap timelines and expectations, distilling complex ideas into digestible objectives and two-week sprints.
  • Document product requirements and designs, creating detailed requirement documents, design mockups, and writing JIRA tickets that clearly outline product features and functionality.
  • Manage product scope, understanding and communicating the technical complexity, timelines, and business value of software-related products.
  • Backlog management, working closely with the Scrum Master on refining and prioritizing user stories and epics for the development team.
  • Support development, providing support to the development team throughout the product life cycle, answering questions and providing clarity during development.
  • Oversee product development, tracking the progress of product development from ideation to release, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Conduct product testing, collaborating with the QA team to ensure new features are tested thoroughly and meet quality benchmarks before release.

Requirements:

  • 5 or more years of experience in product management, business analysis, or a related field.
  • Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams and translate business requirements into actionable development tasks.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA for creating user stories, managing backlogs, and prioritizing features.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience working with IoT, ICT/telecom products or similarly complex IT products/solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Balanced business/technical background, with a foundational level of technical understanding sufficient to provide highly credible leadership to development teams.
  • Experience with UX and UI design.
  • Bilingual (English & French).

  • Competitive salary range: $88,000-$132,000.
  • Performance bonus or sales incentive plan: 12%.
