Job Summary

A highly skilled Automation Strategist is required to drive innovation and excellence in our manufacturing systems. This pivotal role involves designing, optimizing, and integrating cutting-edge automation technologies to enhance productivity and agility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement transformative automation strategies to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Design and integrate automation systems, including data analytics and Industry 4.0 technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of disparate systems.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for instrumentation and control systems.
  • Conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions to ensure safety and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement instrument calibrations and verifications protocols.
  • Review and implement HAZOP assessments and instrument protective functions to safeguard against SILs.
  • Design, develop, and document the I&C portion of project work.
  • Plan, coordinate, and prepare material requisitions, technical evaluations, and recommendations for instrumentation and control equipment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university or college.
  • Experience in powder handling is preferred.
  • Understanding and familiarity of API, ASME, CSA, AER, and ISA codes and directives.
  • Ability to problem-solve effectively and communicate complex ideas.
  • Experience in the use of Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI/Intools) is an asset.
