About the Role

CAMMY HOMES LTD. is seeking a skilled Drywall Installer and Finisher to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall sheets to ensure a smooth and durable finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and ensure a professional finish
  • Fills joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to meet project requirements
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists to ensure a stable structure
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry to achieve a high-quality finish
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound to ensure a strong bond
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in drywall installation and finishing
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Flexibility and reliability are essential for this role
  • Ability to work in various locations and adapt to changing project requirements
