Key Responsibilities
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and maintain a high-quality finish.
  • Filling joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to meet project requirements.
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists, ensuring a stable and secure installation.
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry, maintaining a high-quality finish.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound to ensure a seamless finish.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in drywall installation and finishing.
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Flexibility and reliability are essential for this role.
  • Ability to work in a variety of locations and environments.
