About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join our team at Shearer Licensed Interior Design Inc. As an Architectural Technologist, you will play a key role in the design and development of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Create three-dimensional (3-D) models with computer-aided design (CAD) software and create two-dimensional (2-D) drawings with CAD software.
  • Technical Analysis: Analyze technical documents and reports to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Contract Management: Tender contracts and assist in supervising construction projects.
  • Project Coordination: Prepare working drawings, supervise architectural technical staff, and write specifications.
  • Cost Estimation: Estimate costs and materials for construction projects.
  • Modeling and Presentation: Construct architectural and display models and prepare presentation graphics and drawings.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field of architecture.
  • Certifications: CADD Course and proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
