Position Overview

The Motel Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment, the Skyland Motel Inn & Suites. This position requires a blend of leadership, customer service, and operational management skills.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of College or CEGEP program
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years in a supervisory role within the hospitality sector
Work Environment
  • Located in a rural setting
  • Focus on hotel, motel, and resort operations
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations and perform duties alongside supervised staff
  • Assist guests with specific needs to enhance their experience
  • Coordinate, assign, and evaluate tasks for team members
  • Ensure the functionality of computer systems and equipment, arranging repairs as necessary
  • Manage inventory by requisitioning materials and supplies
  • Plan and direct administrative services, including maintenance, safety inspections, and security measures
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervise a small team of 1 to 2 individuals.

Maintain basic security protocols to ensure guest safety.
