About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Animal Care Specialist to join our Toxicology team in Laval. As an Animal Care Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our laboratory animals, as well as the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain animal rooms and cages to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our animals.
  • Handle and care for laboratory animals, including feeding, watering, and monitoring their health.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of animal care protocols and procedures.

Requirements

  • Ability to work physically, including lifting up to 20 kg, walking, standing, and stooping.
  • Understanding of written English is mandatory; bilingualism in French and English is preferable.
  • Ability to follow precise instructions and procedures.
  • Experience working with animals is an asset.
