We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Animal Care Specialist to join our Toxicology team in Laval. As an Animal Care Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our laboratory animals, as well as the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.
Key Responsibilities- Clean and maintain animal rooms and cages
- Handle and care for laboratory animals
- Assist in the development and implementation of animal care protocols
- Ability to work physically, including lifting up to 20 kg and standing for long periods
- Strong understanding of written English, with bilingualism in French and English a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow precise instructions and procedures
- Competitive salary starting at $18.50/hour
- Evening, weekend, and overtime premiums
