Position Overview

As a Food Service Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our dining establishment. Your leadership will ensure that our culinary team delivers exceptional service and high-quality meals to our guests.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry
Work Environment
  • Type of establishment: Food service establishment, including restaurants and fine dining venues
  • Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective work schedules to optimize staff productivity
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff
  • Provide training to team members on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste
  • Prepare and submit operational reports
  • Oversee the assembly of food trays to ensure presentation and accuracy
Team Leadership

You will be responsible for supervising a team of approximately 11-15 individuals, including:

  • Cooks (general)
  • Food and beverage servers
  • Food service counter attendants and food preparers
  • Kitchen and food service helpers
Work Conditions
  • Fast-paced environment requiring the ability to work under pressure
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods
