About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Server to join our team at Chartwell Jardins de la Gare residence for seniors. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Beverage Service: Prepare and serve specialty food at customers' tables, describe menu items, and advise on menu selections.
  • Customer Service: Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
  • Table Management: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, and ensure a clean and safe dining environment.
  • Communication: Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff, and assist clients/guests with special needs.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Setting: Private residence or retirement home.
  • Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods and lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
