Job Title: Registered Nurse

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Alberta Health Services. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting health and well-being in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional nursing services to patients, families, and communities
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participate in staff development and mentoring student clinical experiences
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of healthcare policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited nursing education program
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
  • Preferred qualifications: Baccalaureate degree in nursing, palliative care experience, and experience with Meditech, Connect Care, and the RAI Home Care assessment tool
