Job Summary

HF Sinclair Corporation is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Trades Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for supervising maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and timely execution of preventative and predictive maintenance plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise maintenance activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure maintenance technicians are competent to complete assigned tasks
  • Conduct daily safety inspections and ensure a disciplined approach to safety is maintained
  • Set work expectations and provide timely feedback to employees
  • Maintain a visible presence in the field to foster employee engagement and assess work process effectiveness
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement plans for work execution and related processes
  • Perform performance management of direct reports and administer attendance management processes
  • Hold regular safety meetings and ensure remedial action is taken on raised items
  • Ensure all team members complete training on time and regulatory documents are up to date
  • Troubleshoot problems to minimize production reduction or downtime
Requirements
  • Five or more years of refinery maintenance or operations experience
  • Previous supervisory experience, preferably in a unionized environment
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
  • Electrical or Instrumentation Certificate of Qualification or Engineering degree
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety standards and procedures
  • Supervisory knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act
  • Knowledge of SAP, Excel, and Word
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
