Key Responsibilities
  • Support the month-end and quarter-end financial closing, analysis, and reporting activities.
  • Engage in external financial reporting tasks.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual budgeting/strategic planning processes.
  • Collaborate on special projects with various departments and mine site/project teams.
  • Evaluate financial data and create presentations for stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business with a focus on Accounting or Finance, ideally in the 2nd or 3rd year.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Fundamental to intermediate understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint applications.
  • Knowledge of additional languages such as Spanish, French, or Portuguese is advantageous.
