Job Title: Construction Helper

Viking Ventures Ltd. is seeking a skilled Construction Helper to join our team. As a Construction Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Loading and Unloading: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from construction sites.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Equipment Operation: Assist in operating heavy equipment such as bobcats, reciprocating saws, circular saws, and jackhammers.
  • Demolition and Debris Removal: Assist in demolishing buildings and removing rubble and other debris from construction sites.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work environment with fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and handling heavy loads.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience with operating heavy equipment such as bobcats, reciprocating saws, circular saws, and jackhammers.
  • Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract) and valid driver's license required.
