Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Chief of Psychiatry to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for leading our Psychiatry Department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Psychiatry Department, ensuring alignment with the organization's vision and goals.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the provision of quality clinical care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless services and programs to our clients and customers.
  • Represent the organization on a local, provincial, and national level, promoting our services and programs.
  • Participate in scholarly and research activities, including publication in academic journals.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine degree and licensure to practice in Ontario.
  • Specialist certification in psychiatry by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
  • Minimum 10 years of clinical experience and 5 years in a medical leadership position.
  • Proven track record of leading interdisciplinary teams and driving growth, developing new programs, and building high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional leadership skills and executive presence.
  • Strong ability to think and act with strategic and tactical agility.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to create and maintain positive relationships with community partners, organizations, and customers.
