About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Project Engineer to join our team at BC Transit. As a key member of our Fleet Management team, you will be responsible for providing engineering, technical guidance, and analysis to support fleet performance, modifications, and sustainability initiatives.

Key responsibilities will include managing fleet technical specifications, supporting fleet procurement and retrofit projects, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will also have the opportunity to work on Quality Assurance planning, Validation and Performance Testing, and non-conformance issue management.

What We're Looking For
  • A university degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Registration with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC) as an engineer-in-training (EIT) or professional engineer (P.Eng)
  • Demonstrated experience in fleet management or the transportation sector
