Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Orbit Carpet & Flooring Ltd. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Store Operations: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales floor staff, ensuring a high level of customer service and sales performance.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock counts and efficient stockroom operations.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze sales reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Team Management: Supervise and develop the skills of sales floor staff, providing coaching and feedback to ensure excellent performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a retail management role
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced retail environment with tight deadlines and high customer expectations
  • Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and frequent bending and stooping
