Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Early Morning Replenishment Team Member to join our team at Michaels. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for ensuring our store is fully stocked and ready for customers. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent customer service, helping customers find what they need and providing solutions to their shopping queries.
  • Ensure all customers receive a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling to standards.
  • Engage customers on the benefits of our Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, and complete enrollments as needed.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
  • Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes, maintaining store recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises.
  • Responsible for completing merchandise recovery and maintenance, including the merchandise return / go back process and general store recovery to ensure a well-merchandised and in-stock store.
  • Support shrink and safety programs, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
  • Interact with others in an accepting and respectful manner, remaining positive and respectful even in difficult situations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to remain standing for long periods of time, move throughout the store, and perform regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
Work Environment

Our store is a public retail setting with climate-controlled areas. Some stock rooms may not be climate controlled, and some outdoor work may be required to retrieve shopping carts or unload trucks. The Frame shop contains glass cutters and heat presses. Work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
