Project Director Transit Infrastructure

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Director to lead our Transit Infrastructure team. As a key member of our Rail/Transit practice, you will be responsible for managing multi-disciplinary teams and overseeing the development and growth of our transit projects.
About the Role:This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a leadership role and drive the success of our transit projects. You will work closely with our clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead multi-disciplinary teams for transit facility projects, including managing teams, sub-consultants, budgets, schedule, quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
- Take ownership of all aspects of project management, from proposal to close-out, including interfaces with GHD Design and design teams.
- Prepare, track, and administer project budgets, and liaise with clients and participate in business development and promotional activities for the company.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to drive project success.
- P. Eng or Registered Architect in Ontario.
- Accredited with PMP certification (or working towards).
- 15+ years of project management experience on multi-discipline engineering teams with experience in transit facilities, rail, stations, electrification, and signaling.
- Experience working for Regional Municipalities or Local Transit Agencies.
- Project Delivery in alternate project delivery (P3, DB, PDB), and experience in managing teaming arrangements with contractors and consultants.
Reports to: Rail and Transit Lead in Ontario.
