About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Food Service Associate to join our team at Cilantro Indian Cuisine. As a Food Service Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve specialty food to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Describe menu items, including daily specials, to customers and make recommendations.
  • Customer Service
    • Greet patrons, present menus, and make recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Table Maintenance
    • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Communication
    • Take orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff in a clear and concise manner.
  • Teamwork
    • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and meet customer needs.
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in the food service industry is an asset.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced restaurant environment with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Physical Demands
    • Be able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods of time.
  • Language
    • Fluency in English is required.
