About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Marketing Director to join our team at Tomato E-commerce Inc. as a Vice-President, Marketing. This is a key leadership role that will play a critical part in shaping the company's marketing strategy and direction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate material, human, and financial resources to implement organizational policies and programs, ensuring effective utilization and optimal return on investment.
  • Department Establishment: Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Regional Coordination: Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments, promoting collaboration and driving business growth.
  • Financial and Administrative Controls: Establish financial and administrative controls, formulate and approve promotional campaigns, and approve overall human resources planning, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Organizational Objectives: Establish objectives for the organization and formulate or approve policies and programs, aligning with the company's overall vision and mission.
  • Representation: Represent the organization, or delegate representatives to act on behalf of the organization, in negotiations or other official functions, maintaining a professional and diplomatic image.
  • Leadership Development: Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff, delegate the necessary authority, and create optimum working conditions, fostering a culture of leadership and development.Computer and Technology Knowledge
    • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS Windows, and MS Word.

    • Supports social and labor market integration of newcomers and/or refugees, facilitating access to community resources, language training, skills training, and other relevant services.

    Support for Veterans
    • Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Veterans, helping them navigate their transition into the civilian workforce.
    • Provides workshops, counseling services, or other resources to help Veterans adapt to different organizational structures and excel in their new roles.
    Support for Mature Workers
    • Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for mature workers, helping them stay engaged and productive in their careers.
