About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Systems Engineer to join our team at Dennis Group Canada Inc. as a key member of our Electrical Systems team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct feasibility studies, design operations, and performance research of electrical generation and distribution networks to ensure efficient and reliable power delivery.
  • Prepare detailed cost and timing estimates, reports, and design specifications for electrical and electronic systems and equipment.
  • Design and develop electrical and electronic components, systems, and equipment to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Supervise and inspect the installation and operation of electrical and electronic systems and equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Develop and implement maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Investigate electrical or electronic failures to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for construction or maintenance projects to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems.
