Misty Mountain Industries Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory Coordinator to join our team. As an Inventory Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods within our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain a reliable internal record-keeping system to track inventory levels, shipments, and storage locations.
- Goods Receipt and Storage: Route goods to appropriate storage areas, unpack received goods, and oversee loading and unloading of goods.
- Shortages and Damaged Goods: Record shortages and reject damaged goods to prevent inventory discrepancies.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in database software, inventory control software, and spreadsheet applications (e.g., MS Excel).
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, attention to detail, and physically demanding tasks.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, dependable, initiative, judgment, organized, reliable, and a team player.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 30 hours per week. The work environment is a warehouse setting, and the successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
