Job Title: Senior Estates Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Estates Manager to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Estates and Facilities Directorate, you will be responsible for leading the management of our estates and facilities, ensuring that our buildings and services are safe, efficient, and effective.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the management of our estates and facilities, including the development and implementation of strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of our buildings and equipment, ensuring that they are safe and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage a team of estates and facilities staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the skills and resources needed to perform their roles effectively.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that our estates and facilities are managed in a way that is consistent with our Trust's values and objectives.
  • Work closely with other departments and teams to ensure that our estates and facilities are integrated into our overall business strategy.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience of managing estates and facilities in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that our estates and facilities are managed in a way that is consistent with our Trust's values and objectives.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards, including the Health Technical Memorandum (HTM).
