Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team at AJMA EXCAVATING LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, conducting pre-operational checks, and performing minor repairs.
Key Responsibilities- Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, to dig and move earth and other materials.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Perform minor repairs to equipment to maintain optimal performance.
- Measure distance, volume, length, and weight to ensure accurate excavation and material handling.
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand excavation plans and site layouts.
The successful candidate will work outdoors in a variety of locations, including construction sites and quarries. The work environment will be physically demanding, with exposure to dust and other environmental factors.
Requirements- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in excavation or a related field.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
AJMA EXCAVATING LTD. offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week. The language of work is English.
