Job Title: Manager Health Services

Shared Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager Health Services to lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams in providing safe, effective, and efficient health services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage teams to deliver high-quality patient care and services.
  • Develop and implement clinical quality frameworks and patient care lenses to drive excellence in health services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure safe, effective, and appropriate client care.
  • Lead and inspire health services staff to adopt integrated, patient-centered care pathways and service delivery models.
  • Provide operational management and partner with leadership and stakeholders to support patients in accessing multiculturally respectful health services.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of recent progressive management experience leading health services in a large, publicly funded health services delivery organization.
  • 5 years of direct clinical services delivery experience across various clinical areas, including primary health, community services, and acute inpatient settings.
  • 2 years of management experience leading a clinical team in a unionized environment.
  • 2 years of experience implementing program planning, development, and evaluation.
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in a relevant health discipline from an accredited education institution.
  • Active member in good standing of an associated regulatory body.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated mid-senior leadership capabilities.
  • Knowledge of relevant professional regulatory requirements, legislated acts, and collective agreements.
  • Ability to work with individuals from diverse cultural, social, and ethnic backgrounds.
Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to work safely in a typical computerized office environment with frequent meetings.
  • Must be able to lift and carry items of up to approximately 10 kg (25 lbs).
  • A valid Manitoba driver's license and use of a personal motor vehicle may be required for travel within the province.
