Job DescriptionIn accordance with established vision values and standards of the organization, the Registered Nurse practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as well as within a patient and family centered care model.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of client care
- Working in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of client–centered care
- Practicing in a variety of clinical settings
The Registered Nurse will participate in the Northern Health In-House Hemodialysis Training Program, which includes online and in-person learning. The program is designed to provide learners with the necessary skills and knowledge to work in the Hemodialysis department.
Requirements- Graduation from an approved School of Nursing
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant (BCCNM)
- Successful completion of recognized advanced clinical preparation in the assigned renal specialty area
- Three years recent related experience in the assigned renal specialty area
- Comprehensive benefit packages including extended health/dental and a municipal pension plan for part-time and full-time employees
- Four weeks vacation with one year of continuous service
- Financial Support for Moving Expenses is available for eligible positions
