Radiological Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiological Technologist to join our team at Mission Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our Medical Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in accordance with established standards and protocols.
- Operate radiographic and computerized imaging equipment, ensuring safe radiation protection practices.
- Prepare patients for examination, including explaining procedures and providing instructions.
- Enter relevant data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor patient care and safety, ensuring procedures adhere to department standards and policies.
- Participate in quality improvement and risk management procedures, and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
- Perform a variety of clerical duties, including data entry and patient demographics.
- Assist with departmental orientations, in-service presentations, and demonstrations of procedures.
Certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) is required. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
