About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Advisor to join our team at CB Canada. As a Financial Advisor, you will play a key role in developing long-term relationships with our clients, building trust, and delivering customized financial solutions that meet their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities to match clients with the right financial products and services that help them achieve their financial goals
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and referral goals
  • Participate in business development plans through corporate/branch marketing campaigns
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and engage clients in conversations to understand their immediate financial needs
  • Develop ongoing knowledge of our current financial services and products, including investment and retail banking services
  • Promote referrals to our Wealth Management, Business Banking teams, and third-party providers
  • Build a comprehensive knowledge of the local market, competitive offers, and economic trends
  • Adhere to all audits, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to mitigate risks of fraud or loss
  • Provide outstanding client experience by adhering to our best practices
  • Contribute to our company's culture of teamwork, positivity, and collaboration
  • Maintain our company's positive image in the community
Requirements
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in retail banking or a related financial industry, preferably in sales or customer service
  • A high school diploma
  • Post-secondary education in Finance (or related studies) is an asset
  • Investment Funds in Canada Course & License (IFIC), Personal Financial Service Advice (PFSA), and Financial Planning I (FP1) certifications are valuable assets
