Delivering Exceptional Customer Service
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Deli Clerk to join our team at Lacombe Food Store. As a Deli Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing sandwiches, pizzas, salads, and other items, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service and respond to customer inquiries
- Prepare and package food items for purchase, including sandwiches, pizzas, salads, and fried foods
- Stock and maintain inventory levels, including slicing and labeling products
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Team player with the ability to work independently
- Experience with food preparation is an asset; training is available
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
