About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wellness Program Instructor to join our team at the YMCA of Three Rivers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality exercise and education programs for adults who may be inactive or dealing with chronic health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver exercise and education programs for adults with chronic health conditions
  • Support individual and group fitness programs designed for older adults
  • Collaborate with program partners and key contacts to develop and deliver programs
  • Provide a safe and supportive environment for adults to achieve their health and wellness goals
Requirements
  • Registered Kinesiologist, certified Exercise Physiologist, or certified personal trainer with 1-2 years of experience working with adults with chronic health conditions
  • Commitment to working in a socially inclusive environment and responding with sensitivity to diverse needs
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively with staff, volunteers, and service agencies
