About the Role

Pride Pak Canada is seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial management of our trade and broadcasting operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets to drive business growth and profitability
    • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance
    • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and the board of directors
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws
  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead and manage a team of financial professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of financial objectives
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve financial performance and drive business growth
  • Strategic Planning
    • Contribute to the development of the company's overall business strategy, providing financial expertise and guidance
    • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, providing financial analysis and recommendations
Requirements
  • Education
    • College or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as finance or accounting
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior financial role, preferably in a trade or broadcasting industry
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong financial planning and analysis skills, with the ability to develop and implement financial plans and budgets
    • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team of financial professionals
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior management, the board of directors, and other stakeholders
