Job Title: Clinical Lead of Programming

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates the onboarding and mentorship of mental health clinicians, fostering an environment conducive to professional growth.
  • Engages in leadership development initiatives and opportunities for professional progression.
  • Directs the formulation of evidence-based treatment strategies for individuals, families, and groups.
  • Identifies deficiencies in care delivery and formulates strategies to improve service quality.
  • Oversees group referral processes and scheduling logistics.
  • Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to enhance the functionality of the FTU program.
  • Supervises group facilitators and manages programs executed by allied health professionals.

Education, Training & Consultation:

  • Conducts educational and training sessions for fellow health professionals.
  • Offers professional consultation to promote evidence-based methodologies.
  • Mentors students engaged in research initiatives.

Program Innovation:

  • Creates and implements new programming for forensic mental health services.
  • Participates in various committees within the healthcare facility.

Quality Enhancement:

  • Leads efforts related to program assessment and quality enhancement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
  • Registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
  • Three to five years of experience in forensic psychology.
  • Proven leadership and facilitation capabilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver culturally sensitive services.
