Senior Business Analyst Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at S.i. Systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting requirements gathering and reporting to ensure effective enterprise-level modernization initiatives.

About the Role

Our valued Public Sector client is currently working on the planning stages for their upcoming modernization initiatives, which may include upgrades to their IM/IT Strategy, Infrastructure, and cloud adoption initiatives. To be effective, they need to understand the business needs and user requirements of internal and external stakeholders throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and lead JAD sessions, definition sessions, and workshops to gather business requirements.
  • Document business requirements in the form of business documents, use cases, and/or user stories.
  • Document current state business processes and develop business use cases and business scenarios.
  • Manage business requirements and/or coordinate system testing activities using Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS).
  • Work within an agile environment to capture client requirements and develop high-level functional and technical requirements and specifications.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong business analysis skills and experience working with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) and other project management tools.
