Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager I to lead and coordinate all aspects of current projects undertaken by the department. The successful candidate will ensure that deliverables are completed on time and on budget, as identified in the project plan.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish detailed project charters, plans, and objectives to outline timelines and project deliverables.
- Execute project plans according to project methodologies, ensuring successful and coordinated completion of project components.
- Track project progress according to project plan and identified metrics, monitoring and reporting on the status of projects and major barriers encountered.
- Participate in the development and monitoring of project budgets within the context of operations demands and environmental and resource constraints.
- Provide leadership by giving advice or guidance in situations that require interpretation and judgment.
- Document system incidents and issues, partnering with the Technical Solutions team and the Application Solutions team to gather inputs and chart a path forward.
- Lead communications to various senior leadership audiences, with expediency and conciseness.
- Lead process improvement initiatives that will expedite the triage of system impacting incidents and issues.
- Monitor the progress of ongoing issues via JIRA tickets, and facilitate collaboration when items stall or face roadblocks.
- A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Master's Degree in Health Services Administration, Business Administration, or a relevant healthcare discipline, with a minimum of five (5) years' recent, related experience in project management and facilitating and managing consultation processes with a wide range of stakeholder groups.
- Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles and methodologies, with the ability to coach team members on these skills.
- Experience or working knowledge of content areas is key to the success of this role.
- Excellent communication skills to function within a complex interdisciplinary environment, including the ability to communicate with the physician community.
- Utilizes effective facilitation, persuasion, and negotiation abilities to achieve consensus, resolve conflict, and achieve desired outcomes.
- Works effectively under time pressure to meet deadlines, balance work priorities, and resolve problems in a timely manner.

Salary Range: $88,990 - $127,923 /year. The starting salary for this position would be determined with consideration of the successful candidate's relevant education and experience, and would be in alignment with the provincial compensation reference plan. Salary will be prorated accordingly for part-time roles.
