Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) - Long-Term Substitute
About the Role:The York Catholic District School Board is seeking a qualified Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to provide long-term substitute support to our students.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing in a variety of settings
- Develop and implement individualized education plans to meet the unique needs of students
- Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive learning environment
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless support and services
- Valid Ontario teaching certification with a specialization in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education
- Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
