Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team at PHOENIX AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, with a focus on commercial transport systems.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in a similar role
Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, repair, or replace components and systems of commercial transport vehicles.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to assess whether to repair or replace faulty units.
  • Engage in discussions regarding work progress with supervisory staff.
  • Conduct inspections and tests on mechanical units to identify issues.
  • Evaluate the performance of motors during operation.
  • Review and analyze work orders to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Perform road tests on motor vehicles to verify repairs.
  • Assess and adjust automotive systems and components as needed.
  • Repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems.
  • Conduct tests and adjustments on repaired systems to meet manufacturer standards.
  • Estimate costs for parts and labor associated with vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance services effectively.
  • Provide insights to customers regarding work completed and future maintenance needs.
  • Document issues and work performed through detailed reports.
  • Mentor and guide apprentices in their development.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout all interactions.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a commitment of 32 hours per week. The primary language of communication will be English.
