Amazon Web Services (AWS) Canada is at the forefront of designing, planning, and managing the global infrastructure that powers our services. Our dedicated team ensures the seamless operation of all AWS data centers, including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling systems, providing customers with uninterrupted access to cutting-edge technology.

We are in search of skilled Network Engineers to enhance the deployment, scaling, and automation of the AWS Direct Connect service, which links AWS to customers across the globe.

As a Network Development Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing network infrastructure for various AWS services and Amazon Retail Service
  • Automating processes related to network scaling and maintenance
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop network designs and solutions
  • Creating scripts to automate network configuration tasks

The ideal candidate will possess a high degree of autonomy, exceptional communication skills, and strong project management capabilities. We prioritize simplicity, scalability, and innovative approaches to address complex networking challenges.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • 4+ years of experience with major internet routing protocols
  • 4+ years of experience in a Linux/Unix environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1+ years of experience in automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell, or Perl
