About the Role
The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Dr. Richard LeBlanc as part of the Clinical Research Team at the Centre de recherche de l'Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont. Our research team's mission is to improve patient care, innovate through research, and promote knowledge dissemination on various aspects of multiple myeloma. Our dynamic team works to improve survival and quality of life for patients with this disease.
Main Responsibilities
- Verify and ensure compliance with the process of obtaining participant consent
- Collect, organize, and maintain comprehensive databases on patients with multiple myeloma, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality
- Access patient medical records to extract relevant data
- Communicate with archives services at other hospitals to obtain missing data
- Ensure adherence to best documentation practices and compliance with current regulations
- Implement tools to ensure data integrity and accuracy
- Collaborate with the research team to identify potential patients for inclusion in various databases
- Collaborate with principal researchers to identify challenges in collecting high-quality data and implement tools to minimize missing data
Key Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work in a team environment. A strong understanding of research principles and data management practices is essential.
