As the premier high-end men's clothing retailer in Canada, Harry Rosen presents an exhilarating and demanding opportunity for a Head of Brand Marketing who will oversee Harry Rosen, E Zegna, and the Harry's Outlets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

  1. Contribute to the formulation of brand strategy for all store banners, proprietary brands, and designated marketing initiatives.
  2. Craft and manage marketing briefs that yield multi-channel, full-funnel, customer-focused campaigns.
  3. Direct integrated marketing plans and campaigns from inception to implementation.
  4. Collaborate with freelancers, media partners, and internal teams on media strategies that utilize owned, earned, and paid media.
  5. Innovate marketing approaches to surprise and engage our customers.
  6. Ensure cohesive and consistent messaging across all customer interactions.
  7. Partner with the data analytics team to establish, monitor, and evaluate marketing KPIs.
  8. Advocate for the development and application of customer personas and segmentation in marketing strategies.
  9. Generate customer insights and post-campaign analyses to guide future initiatives.
  10. Assess customer outcomes and sales reports by division, department, and brand.
  11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to provide strategic recommendations.
  12. Assist in the planning, development, and communication of the marketing calendar.
  13. Align sales strategies and promotions with the marketing calendar.
  14. Support the creation of integrated marketing plans by working with cross-functional teams.
  15. Identify opportunities to enhance marketing processes.
  16. Assist with seasonal budget planning for departments.
  17. Oversee monthly forecasting, ongoing billing, and tracking of all assigned expenditures.
  18. Develop strategies to generate brand PR and earned media.
  19. Manage relationships with PR agencies and/or freelancers to drive PR initiatives.
  20. Propel key messaging that reaches our consumers through third-party channels that support marketing and brand strategies.
  21. Own in-store event channel objectives and support.
  22. Manage relationships with suppliers and external agencies.
  23. Collaborate with internal teams to create exceptional omni-channel creative campaigns and events.
  24. Partner with store operations and visual merchandising teams to create best-in-class in-store marketing communications.
  25. Conduct one-on-one meetings and complete evaluations of direct reports.
  26. Foster team engagement, development, and succession planning.
  27. Establish performance standards and lead by example.
  28. Demonstrate adaptability and embrace change in a dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience:

  1. A University Degree is required.
  2. 8 years of experience in a comparable role.
  3. Proven ability to collaborate with various internal/external resources and departments to achieve objectives.
  4. Demonstrated experience in managing external media planners and buyers, as well as creative teams.
  5. Exceptional relationship-building skills.
  6. Ability to think strategically while maintaining a high level of detail orientation.
  7. Familiarity with digital media and technology.
  8. Strong business acumen.
  9. A sense of urgency.
  10. Strong customer service orientation.
  11. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  12. Outstanding organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  13. Knowledge of the fashion/retail industry is advantageous.
