Agilus is seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the development of automated manufacturing lines in Ottawa, Ontario. This role is responsible for the entire machine development cycle, from proposal writing to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop automated manufacturing lines, including machine design, fabrication, integration, and commissioning.
  • Lead project management, client interfacing, and mentoring team members.
  • Integrate a wide range of technologies into complex systems, including mechanism, actuators, sensors, and structural components.
  • Design and develop hygienic equipment, PLC & Electrical systems.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering, with a focus on automation.
  • Project management experience.
  • Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering.
